Madagascar - August 2011

The Zafimaniry country, the Betsileo country, the Isalo area ... the place I went through during this hike were so different, but were only a small part of the ecosystems and ethnic groups this amazing indian ocean island has to offer.

With its endemic fauna and flora, its unique reliefs, its friendly atmosphere Madagascar is a hiking destination I wished to discover since a long time, but these three weeks were not enough to exhaust the many treasures of this island. I will need to come back then ... for sure.
